Their three-point shooting is elite compared to the rest of the league
At the end of the day, the biggest takeaway from this Grizzlies-Jazz series for Utah is that they are far more superior in terms of shooting three-pointers than any other team in the league. Memphis did not shoot bad from three in this series, but the Jazz always seemed to outscore them because of their ability to knock down three-point shots in unison.
Utah outscored Memphis by 96 points from the three-point line in this series and 40.8% of their total points in this series came from the three-point line. It is safe to say that the Jazz “live and die” by the three-point line, but at the end of the day, it is hard for them to “die” given how many three-point shooters they have.

We talked about the success Royce O’Neale and Donovan Mitchell have had from deep, but Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic, Joe Ingles and Jordan Clarkson are all dangerous perimeter shooters as well, making Utah extremely difficult to guard.
Utah’s ability to knock down three-point shots is a lot like the Houston Rockets teams with James Harden over the years. They have outscored their opponents from the three-point line, resulting in them having the best record in the NBA, which is something that should not be overlooked.
Moving forward, teams may game plan to try and defend the perimeter better, but the one thing that makes Utah different and better than the Rockets teams of old is the fact that Mitchell, Conley and Clarkson all have the ability to get to the paint and do damage from inside.
This Utah Jazz offense is elite compared to the rest of the league and because of how dominant they are from the three-point line, they should be favored in every single series moving forward in the playoffs.
