Harrison Barnes

Another member of the Kings that could be a trade target this offseason is Harrison Barnes. The veteran forward had one of the better years of his career in 2020-2021, averaging 16.1 points, a career-best 6.6 rebounds, and a career-high 3.5 assists per game. He also converted a career-best 49.7 of his field-goal attempts, including an impressive 39.1 percent from three-point range.

At 29 years old, Harrison Barnes isn’t the same athletic player that operated as a role player for the Golden State Warriors early in their championship run. However, Barnes has honed in on his abilities, becoming a very solid player that can play the small forward or power forward positions.

Barnes could slide in at the four when the Pacers want to deploy a small lineup, which is something they need if they were to move on from one of their centers. With Harrison Barnes having a more expensive contract than Bagley, it would take a key player in a trade package to match salary.

Adding a player like Harrison Barnes that has plenty of playoff experience and valuable leadership qualities would be invaluable to Indiana. It just remains to be seen if the Pacers are willing to part ways with Warren.
