Jrue Holiday needs to continue to be the guy to run the offense for Milwaukee
One of the biggest reasons why the Bucks were not as good as they should have been in the playoffs last year was because Giannis Antetokounmpo was their primary defender, their primary ball-handler and their primary playmaker.

With Jrue Holiday this year, a lot of pressure has been lifted off of Giannis’ shoulders and that was clear to see in this series against the Heat. There was less standing around on offense for Milwaukee and overall, things seemed a lot more simplistic offensively than just giving the ball to Antetokounmpo and everyone else getting out of the way.
In this series against the Heat, Holiday not only took on the role of being the team’s main facilitator, averaging nearly 9.8 assists per game, but he made a difference on the glass as well, averaging 6.8 rebounds per game.
Getting production from Jrue Holiday on both ends of the court is very important for the Bucks and gives them that “third guy” that they were missing last year. Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo are two talented players, but they cannot do everything for this team.
With Jrue Holiday though, the entire Bucks game plan opens up and they are able to do a lot more than in years past on both ends of the court. He has been the x-factor for the Bucks all season long and now in the playoffs, he has shown so far why they spent so much to get him.
