Bryn Forbes’ emergence off-the-bench
One of the underrated signings last offseason for the Bucks was them signing Bryn Forbes to a two-year, $4.79M contract. During the regular season, Forbes was a key sharpshooter off-the-bench, shooting 45.2% from three-point range, and in this playoff series against the Heat, he was fantastic.

Forbes played in all four games, averaging 15.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and shooting 48.5% from three-point range. In Game 3 of this series against the Heat, Donte DiVincenzo went down with a foot injury that turned out to be a season-ending ligament injury.
With no DiVincenzo, Pat Connaughton got the start for the Bucks, but Bryn Forbes was the guy off-the-bench that took on a lot more minutes and made a huge impact for Milwaukee. Moving forward, he is going to be a key player for the Bucks and given his ability to get hot from distance, they are going to need him to knock down some big shots against either Brooklyn or Boston.
In this series against the Heat, the Bucks dominated the three-point line and have shown all year long that they are a much better three-point shooting team than last year, which is why Forbes is going to be the difference-maker off-the-bench for them in any series from here on out.
