New York shot 39.2 percent on 3-points. While they are near the bottom in attempts, they make them count as a large portion of their attempts come from the corners. Atlanta attempts only three more 3-pointers per game than New York, but where this will be decided is on the defensive side of the ball.
The Knicks and Hawks rank first and third, respectively, in opponent 3-point shooting percentage this season. New York is allowing teams to shoot 33.7 percent from the 3-point line, while Atlanta opponents are knocking down 34.9 percent.
Clean 3-point makes will be difficult to come by in this series, so when the teams get them, they will have to knock them down.
