Michael Porter Jr. emerges as the best scoring threat on the Nuggets
Speaking of Michael Porter Jr, he has emerged as a key factor for the Nuggets on the offensive-end of the court this season and in the postseason, I expect him to breakout like Jamal Murray did in the NBA Bubble a season ago. Now, we may not see 50+ point performances from MPJ like we saw from Murray, but nonetheless, he is going to be the #1 offensive weapon for the Nuggets against the Trail Blazers.

Nikola Jokic played well in the three games he played against the Blazers this year, averaging 29.0 points per game while shooting 52.2% from the floor, but Michael Porter Jr. is the most pure scorer on this team right now and he has the size to be able to score over anybody on the Blazers’ roster.
He may not have been impressive in the games he played in against Portland this year, but since Jamal Murray went down with his torn left ACL, Porter Jr. has stepped up next to Jokic and been one of their primary scoring weapons.
Since Murray has been out, MPJ has scored 20+ points in 12 of the 17 games he has played in, including 4 games with 30+ points. Whether it is in the paint, in transition or on the perimeter, Michael Porter Jr. is a three-dimensional scorer that is going to cause a lot of headaches for Terry Stotts and the Blazers in this series.
