Kendrick Nunn steps up into a much bigger role than he held last year in the NBA playoffs
Last season in the NBA Bubble, Kendrick Nunn did not play well at all and in the series against the Milwaukee Bucks, he was just a rotational bench player that did not see much time on the court. In the 5 playoff games against the Bucks last season, he averaged 3.8 points, 1.0 rebounds, 0.8 assists and did not see more than 21 minutes in any of the games.

This season, Nunn has put together a really solid second season in the league, averaging 14.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and shooting 48.5% from the floor, 38.1% from three-point range. Since Oladipo went down with that right quad injury, Nunn has been inserted back into the starting rotation and over the last two weeks, has averaged just over 31 minutes per game!
Goran Dragic and Tyler Herro are going to continue to be big factors coming off the bench for the Miami Heat, especially in this series against the Bucks, but Kendrick Nunn is going to be a new challenge that the Bucks will have to deal with.
He may not have been much of a factor in the playoff series last year, but he will definitely play a key part in the Heat’s potential playoff success this year. In his final game of the regular season, Nunn went for 31 points (13-18 FG, 4-5 3PT), 6 rebounds and 3 assists against the Milwaukee Bucks.
