Last year in the NBA Bubble, the 1-seed in the Eastern Conference was the Milwaukee Bucks and they took on the 5-seeded Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Many believed that Giannis and the Bucks had a strong chance to make the NBA Finals last season, but the Heat surprisingly destroyed Milwaukee in the Eastern Conference Semifinals 4-1.

Now, the Bucks have a chance to get their revenge, as they will face the Miami Heat in the first-round of the NBA playoffs this year. However, both teams are quite different than they were last season and Milwaukee has everything on the line for them.

The Bucks in the offseason made a ton of moves to try and get Giannis Antetokounmpo the help he needs in order to bring a championship back to Milwaukee and they did so by adding Jrue Holiday and some other key bench players like Bryn Forbes, Bobby Portis and P.J. Tucker midseason.

For the Heat, they made a big move at the trade deadline by trading for Victor Oladipo, but after four games in Miami, Oladipo hurt his right quadriceps tendon, the same quad that he tore a tendon in back in 2019. Now, the former All-Star guard is done for the year after undergoing surgery, so it is up to Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo once again to try and bring the Heat back to the NBA Finals where they fell to the eventual NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers last season.

This Heat-Bucks series is going to be a lot of fun for a ton of different reasons and with a revenge factor being on the line for the Bucks, we can expect this to be a long and hard fought series! With that said, let’s take a look at my four bold predictions for the 3/6 matchup in the Eastern Conference between Milwaukee and Miami.
