Trade TJ Warren if that is what he wants, even if Bjorkgren is the head coach
There are NBA trade rumors that TJ Warren has requested a trade from the Indiana Pacers due to rifts between he and first-year head coach Nate Bjorkgren. If these reports are true, then the Pacers should absolutely choose Warren over Bjorkgren, but if he truly does want to be traded from Indiana, they will have to let him go.
Indiana is not helping themselves and their image as a franchise this year with everything that has transpired over the last week or so with the speculation that Bjorkgren is on the “hot seat” and then the feud on the court between players and coaches. If now Warren wants out and they deny to trade him, what kind of message does this send to the rest of the NBA and their own players?

Right now, people are calling the Indiana Paces a “toxic environment” and for potential free agents, who would want to go to an organization that is showing all of these yellow and red flags?
If TJ Warren wants out, they have to grant him his request, otherwise plenty of other players on their roster may want out as well. With the right coaching staff and personnel, there is no reason why the Pacers cannot make a deep run in the postseason, especially given all of the talent on their roster, which is why they need to do what is best for the players.
If they do not like Nate Bjorkgren and he is causing too many problems, then ownership and management needs to find a new head coach in the offseason because keeping the players happy should be their number one priority.
