Philadelphia 76ers Receive: G Jordan Clarkson
Utah Jazz Receive: G Seth Curry, F Matisse Thybulle, PHI 2021 1st Round Pick
Seeing as they have been one of the best teams in the NBA all season long, the Utah Jazz will not be looking to move anybody on their roster anytime soon, but this trade proposal with the Philadelphia 76ers is definitely an interesting trade to talk about.
In the Eastern Conference, Philadelphia has been at the top of the standings all year long, jockeying with the Nets for the 1-seed in the conference, but if they fall short of their ultimate goal of reaching the NBA Finals, they could be aggressive in their pursuit of adding more talent in the offseason.
They were unwilling to include Matisse Thybulle in trade packages for All-Star talents in the past, based on various NBA trade rumors. If the 76ers truly want to maximize their talent on their roster, they will have to get rid of the young wing in a trade.
At 24-years-old, Matisse Thybulle has not held that big of a role at the NBA level in terms of minutes per game, but his production on the defensive-end of the floor has made him one of the best defensive players in the league.

Both he and Seth Curry, one of the best three-point shooters in NBA history, could definitely prove to be useful in a Jazz system that relies so heavily on the “3-and-D” philosophy.
Now, let’s take a look at the impact this trade could have on both teams and whether or not this is a move that could help or hurt them in the grand scheme of things.
