Ayo Dosunmu

Ayo Dosunmu decided to go back to Illinois for his junior year after many thinking that he was a first round pick following his sophomore campaign. The Illini had their best regular season in 15 years but suffered an early exit in the NCAA Tournament. Dosunmu scored 20.7 points per game this season and was one of the top players in the nation.

Dosunmu is not projected as a high-lottery pick, which could work in Memphis’ favor. If he falls a bit, the Grizzlies could take full advantage. Ayo Dosunmu is the most polished player on this list and looks like he is ready to play at the next level right away.

He showed an ability to be a scorer at all three levels and can rebound well on the defensive end of the floor. This is a prospect that comes from a winning culture and has a chance to start right away in the NBA. Memphis would welcome Ayo Dosunmu to town with open arms if he is on the board when they are on the clock.

If the Grizzlies are indeed looking for that backcourt piece, Ayo Dosunmu could be the perfect fit. He would complement Morant well and give Memphis a duo moving forward.
