The Raptors could choose to go in the direction of a big man to add some much-needed depth in the frontcourt. Evan Mobley will be off the board so the Raptors could look to the next best thing. That is Kai Jones out of Texas. There are other options in Moses Moody or Jalen Johnson but Jones is the second best big in the draft.

Kai Jones is a freak athlete with great size and length. At 6-foot-11, Jones can dominate on the defensive end an act as a rim protector at the next level. He is a raw prospect offensively but showed signs of developing a bit of a jump shot. Jones has an extremely high ceiling with great potential.

This would be a pick that could solidify the frontcourt with Siakam in Toronto. Kai Jones is a pick-and-roll option with VanVleet on the perimeter. Nick Nurse would have plenty of options if the front office decided to pull the trigger on Jones.

If the Raptors were in position to draft Mobley, they would but it is highly unlikely. Kai Jones should be on the board when Toronto is on the clock and this would be the direction to go if they want a big man.
