Phoenix Suns
After going 8-0 in the NBA Bubble last season and ultimately missing the playoffs, the Phoenix Suns had a lot of hype surrounding them entering last offseason, but they made some incredible moves that have pushed them from a fringe playoff team, to a championship contender.
Not only do they still have Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton, but the Suns added veterans Chris Paul and Jae Crowder in the offseason, giving them exactly what they needed to turn themselves into one of the best teams in the entire league.
Chris Paul is one of the most underrated players of All-Time in the NBA and is arguably the best leader in the league, but everybody on this Suns roster has improved this year. Booker and Ayton have improved, but so has Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson and some of the other young talents on this roster.
Phoenix is one of three teams to have been ranked inside the Top-10 all year long in both offensive and defensive rating and given all the ways that they can beat their opponents, it should not come as a surprise if Chris Paul leads the Suns to their first Western Conference Finals appearance since Steve Nash and Amar’e Stoudemire led the Suns there in 2010.
