No. 2. Jerami Grant – Detroit Pistons

After having some breakout performances in the NBA Bubble last season, Jerami Grant earned himself a three-year, $60M deal to be “the man” for the Detroit Pistons. Everybody knew Grant was a really solid player, but nobody expected the breakout season that he has had.

Jerami Grant has had a career-year in Detroit, averaging 22.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and shooting 35.9% from three-point range. The 27-year-old forward came up just short of making his first All-Star appearance of his career, but is very much in the running to win Most Improved Player this season.

The Pistons are still a team near the bottom of the standings but with a bunch of  young talents in their roster and with a leader like Jerami Grant, Detroit is definitely a team to watch and be excited about over the next couple of seasons.
