Why This Trade Would Benefit The Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers have been a good team in the conference for a few years now but have never been taken seriously as a championship contender. This was because their lineup configuration was always a bit off. This changed in the offseason went Daryl Morey and Doc Rivers took over control of the team.

Philadelphia added shooters in the offseason. Both Seth Curry and Danny Green came to town as three-point threats and this helped the lineup immediately. Joel Embiid is having an MVP-type season while Ben Simmons continues to fill up the stat sheet.

The emergence of Tobias Harris has also is everything 20.5 points per game. Adding a point guard like Lowry would help even further. This would allow Simmons to play off the ball if needed. This is a position where he could thrive within the offense.
