Why This Trade Would Benefit The Los Angeles Clippers
Los Angeles is a win-now team and that was made clear last offseason. They gave up a lot to acquire both Leonard and George and the experiment did not work in year one. They have a new head coach in Ty Lue and a new hope that they can come out of the Western Conference.
As of now, Beverly is still manning the offense. This was something that hurt them last year when they faced a Denver Nuggets a postseason. The point guard is turning into the most important position on the floor and the Clippers need to improve right away.
Rubio is a veteran guard with experience playing with other stores. This is something that would benefit the Clippers because of how their rotation is set up.
