Devonte’ Graham – Charlotte Hornets
With LaMelo Ball suffering a wrist fracture and expected to miss the rest of the season, the Hornets are likely not in the market to be dealing any of their high-level players, but they have shown an interest in Myles Turner over the last few weeks. If the Hornets are going to make a push for Turner from the Pacers, then Devonte’ Graham could absolutely be a target for Indiana.
Last season, Devonte’ Graham emerged as one of the most improved players in the entire NBA, as he averaged 18.2 points, 7.5 assists, 3.4 rebounds and shot 37.3% from three-point range. He was the Hornets leading scorer a season ago and definitely their best offensively player.
While his role is set to increase with Ball being out, he could be an excellent addition to the Pacers’ backcourt and give them that extra jolt of energy and scoring output on the offensive-end of things to be a playoff team in the Eastern Conference.

Devonte’ Graham is known for being a perimeter shooting threat, something the Pacers could really use in a guard, but he is also a fantastic floor general and distributor. This season he is averaging 5.2 assists per game and last year, he averaged upwards of 7.5 assists per game.
The young guard has a lot of upside in this league and is in the final year of his rookie contract, which is even more of a reason why the Pacers could be interested in the Hornets’ guard. Again, Charlotte is probably out of the market for making a big move at the trade deadline with LaMelo Ball being out, but if they truly want to target Myles Turner, expect to see Devonte’ Graham included in that deal.
