Jeff Teague – Boston Celtics
It would be a long shot to go out and trade for a guy like Jeff Teague, but he is definitely a last-minute trade target for the Bucks. Teague signed a one-year deal with the Celtics this past offseason and with them not having much bench depth as it is, it seems likely that they will not be moving Teague, but anything is possible at the trade deadline.
The Celtics are rumored to be interested in a couple of high-level talents at the trade deadline this year, which could open the door for the Bucks to acquire Jeff Teague as part of a multi-team deal for the Celtics to open a roster spot.
Now in his 12th season in the league, the veteran point guard is averaging 6.0 points, 2.0 assists and is shooting 42% from three-point range. He is not the same player he once was with the Atlanta Hawks earlier in his career, but Jeff Teague is a proven, veterna player that could easily provide meaningful minutes for a championship-contending Bucks team.

Not only is he a strong two-way guard, but he fits the mold that the Bucks should be looking for in a backup point guard behind Jrue Holiday. Teague is tough and like Austin Rivers, has been a part of numerous successful teams over the years, giving him plenty of playoff experience.
It is highly unlikely that the Celtics will entertain the idea of trading Jeff Teague ahead of this year’s trade deadline, but that should not stop the Bucks from going after him if they have him on their list of trade targets.
