The Denver Nuggets came into the NBA season with hopes of being one of the top teams in the Western Conference. They are currently in the middle of the pack in terms of playoff seeding and could look to be aggressive at the deadline in hopes of moving up. The Indiana Pacers could be in an intriguing trade partner for a team like Denver.
The Nuggets have one of the best duos in the league with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. Jokic is looking like an MVP candidate through the first half of the season. He entered the All-Star break nearly averaging a triple double and is doing things that we have never seen a big man do. The team has underachieved a bit to this point of the season but it is not too late to turn things around in the second half.
As for Indiana, they have certainly underachieved and could even look to be sellers at the NBA trade deadline. The Pacers hold a record of 17-20 in a very weak Eastern Conference. They have become a staple in the postseason but are in danger of missing out this year.
