Why This Trade Would Benefit The Orlando Magic
There was a time this season where we could have actually thought that the Orlando Magic were going to buy at the NBA trade deadline in hopes of competing for the duration of the season. That quickly went away as the team has come back down to earth and find themselves at the bottom of the conference. This means that the front office could go the other way and start selling.
The Magic have relied on the same unit for a couple years now. This has landed them to postseason appearances but have been unable to advance because of their extremely low seed. Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier seem like more realistic trade pieces for the Magic but Vucevic would certainly land them the biggest return.
This would be a blockbuster deal for the Magic and show that they are not messing around when it comes to rebuilding the roster. In return, they would get some help immediately but it is ultimately about the draft picks and prospect stay with plans.

The Magic have some valuable players and teams will be after if they are on the market. Together, they have been unable to build a winner but could certainly benefit competing teams. This includes a Nikola Vucevic and it could be beneficial for both parties to split up.
