The Boston Celtics are a team that was in need of some help in the frontcourt during the offseason. This is something that they did not go after and it could be one of their main goals at the NBA trade deadline. This would certainly help as they hope to rise to the top of the Eastern Conference.

The Celtics have struggled with depth this season. It is one of the reasons that they are off to an inconsistent start in the first half. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are both scoring in a high rate but the team lacks explosiveness behind them.

The Orlando Magic could be the perfect trade partner for Boston. After two straight appearances in the postseason, Orlando is looking like one of the worst teams in the East.

They are currently 14th in the conference after a relatively strong start to the year. This could force the front office to be sellers at the NBA trade deadline and Nikola Vucevic is the biggest name they have. This would land the Magic a nice return as they hope to rebuild the roster.
