Dorian Finney-Smith – Dallas Mavericks
With him being a big part of the Mavericks rotation and the epitome of a “3-and-D” player, it seems unlikely that Dallas would trade Dorian Finney-Smith, but he would be a great fit in Milwaukee. Outside of Khris Middleton on the wing, the Bucks do not have many consistent options to turn to, which could hurt them in the playoffs.
This season, Dorian Finney-Smith is averaging 8.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.0 steals and is shooting 34.5% from three-point range. He does a lot of things for the Mavericks that do not show up in the stat sheets, which is why he holds a lot of value as a trade target.
Not to mention, Finney-Smith is only owed $8M through next season, making his contract one of the best in terms of player value in the entire league. The impact he could make for the Bucks on both ends of the court would definitely help elevate them back to being the team to beat in the Eastern Conference and give them yet another key defensive player to rely on.

While he is not as impactful of a player offensive as Victor Oladipo or Terrence Ross, Dorian Finney-Smith is a very underrated player in the league. People do not give him enough credit for what he can do, which is why he could be the steal of the trade deadline if the Bucks were able to acquire him.
With their current roster, the Milwaukee Bucks are definitely in the championship conversation in the Eastern Conference, but they will really need to change things offensively during the second-half of the season if they are to beat the Nets or 76ers in a 7-game series. Giannis Antetokounmpo can not do everything for this team, which is why going out and getting a very reliable role player in Dorian Finney-Smith could make a ton of sense.
