Victor Oladipo – Houston Rockets
Earlier in the season, when Oladipo was still a member of the Indiana Pacers, the Milwaukee Bucks expressed a lot of interest in the former All-Star guard. Not only is he a factor offensively, but Oladipo is a terrific one-on-one defender as well and led the league in steals during the 2017-18 season.
The Bucks never made an official offer for Oladipo near the beginning of the season, but their interest in him could carry over to the trade deadline. Recently, our very own Jake Rogers reported on Oladipo to the Bucks in NBA trade rumors and discussed what an anonymous NBA scout said about the possibility of this scenario happening.
The unnamed scout mentioned how Victor Oladipo is a player to keep an eye on as it pertains to the Bucks because of their interest in him earlier in the season. If Milwaukee still has interest in Victor Oladipo, then they could potentially make a deal for him happen.

If Milwaukee was willing to give up Brook Lopez and his $12.6M salary for this season, then they could potentially move some other smaller contracts in order to acquire the 2x All-Star combo guard. The Rockets are looking to acquire young talents and draft picks and while the Bucks do not have many draft picks left after trading for Jrue Holiday before the season, they could still put together an interesting trade offer for Oladipo.
Other teams could probably offer better deals than the Bucks could for Victor Oladipo, but pairing him with Giannis, Middleton and Holiday would give the Bucks a fantastic core group to contend for a championship this season.
