The Orlando Magic found a way to clinch a postseason berth in each of the last two years. They were a low seed so they did not advance either year. This season, the Magic were hoping to take the next step but they have fallen behind as we enter the all-star break. this could lead to them being sellers.
Nikola Vucevic is the best player in Orlando right now so he would land the biggest return. If the Magic are going to build around anyone, it was assumed to be Vucevic but they could surprise with this deal. Nurkic is a big man that has struggled with injuries and this has halted his progress.
Robert Covington is an intriguing player because of his three-and-D skillset. The Magic are a rebuilding team that will not make the postseason here. This means draft picks are extremely valuable and they would land two in this deal.
