The Portland Trail Blazers have been a relevant team for years now because of their duo of guards. Both Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum are having good years once again and the team could be looking to take the next step. The Western Conference is getting better and Portland will have to make moves to keep up.
The Trail Blazers were the eight seed a season ago and took the Los Angeles Lakers to just five games. This season, they have a chance to finish near the top and this would go a long way in taking that step. Vucevic would certainly help down the stretch.
Right now, the Trail Blazers rely heavily on their guards because of the lack of depth and ability in the frontcourt. Nikola Vucevic would improve the unit right away.
