Russell Westbrook has been one of the top point guards in the league for quite some time now. Since leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder, he has had trouble finding a new home. The fit with the Washington Wizards is very strange considering the team is looking to rebuild. This is where he could end up with the Miami Heat.
The Heat made a surprise run a season ago and they did it on the back of Butler. He proved to be a true big-game player that could win in the postseason. Miami’s core is young and very talented beyond their years.
This is a team ready to win-now but they lack depth at the point guard position. Westbrook would fix this immediately and give them a player who could fill up a stat sheet on a nightly basis. This would give Miami an even better shot at competing in Eastern Conference.
