Washington Wizards Receive: Marvin Bagley III, Nemanja Bjelica
Sacramento Kings Receive: Davis Bertans, Troy Brown Jr., Moritz Wagner, 2021 1st Round Pick
Bagley III has been unable to get comfortable in Sacramento. He has improved a bit but has not been a prospect that the Kings hope they were getting with the second overall pick back in 2018. A change of scenery could benefit him just as well as Bertans.
Sacramento would get Troy Brown Jr. in return. This would allow the Kings to load up on some young talent as Mo Wagner would also be on the move, along with the first-round pick in this year’s draft.

With Bagley III still being on his rookie contract, the King would send out Nemanja Bjelica in order to better match salary to take on Davis Bertans. His perimeter shooting ability would complement Richaun Holmes in the frontcourt quite well and help open things up for De’Aaron Fox.
Let’s take a look at how this NBA trade deadline scenario centered around Marvin Bagley III would benefit both the Sacramento Kings and Washington Wizards.
