Why This Trade Would Benefits The Dallas Mavericks

As of now, Luka Doncic has been running the point with Jalen Brunson coming off the bench as his backup. This has been working individually for Doncic as he is putting up some eye-popping numbers but that has not translated into team success.

Dallas could use some more help in the backcourt so that Doncic can play off the ball. This is where Kemba Walker comes into play. He is a score-first guard with the ability to dish as well. Walker is an elite guard with all-star potential. Adding another star would open up the offense.

This would benefit Kristaps Porzingis because they would have to worry about other players the perimeter. Luka Doncic would benefit from playing off the ball. He would still be able to have it in his hands at the biggest moments of the game. Kemba Walker is a threat so it would be difficult to double-team any of their big three.

The Western Conference is only getting better. The Mavericks have hopes of becoming a playoff team and they might need a deal like this for that to happen.
