This Clippers-Hornets trade is centered around Terry Rozier to L.A.

Why This Trade Would Benefit The Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers wer handed an early exit to the playoffs last year and their lack of depth and ability at the point composition was the main reason why. This is something they did not improve in the offseason and could be aggressive in pursuit of at the NBA trade deadline.

Terry Rozier seems like a perfect fit to help elevate the offense while also playing aggressive defense alongside Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Rozier is a scoring threat at the position but also knows how to play a secondary role.

During his time with the Boston Celtics, Terry Rozier has experience playing with other players who need the ball in their hands. Rozier is averaging three assists per game this season and that number would go up with the talent around him in Los Angeles.

This is a guard-driven league and despite their dynamic duo, the Clippers need a little more at the point guard position. This trade will allow Patrick Beverley to return to the bench where he is more effective, especially on the defensive end.

The Western Conference is only getting better and the Clippers will need to keep up. This is a move that can continue their trend in the right direction.
