Why This Trade Would Benefit The Miami Heat
It seems predetermined that the Miami Heat is going to make a big move. They have been featured in too many NBA trade rumors and linked to too many players to continue to sit on their hands. As we get closer to the NBA trade deadline, we could see Pat Riley begin to shake things up. If not, we might have to wait until free agency.
The Miami Heat had their sights set on Giannis Antetokounmpo in free agency before he signed a five-year extension with a Milwaukee Bucks. Now that Giannis is off the table, Miami could be beginning to look elsewhere. This is where Kristaps Porzingis, another big man, would come into play.
Kristaps Porzingis is more than capable from the three-point line while acting as a strong rebounder and defender. Porzingis and Bam Adebayo would be a very difficult frontcourt to guard because of their what day do differently on the offensive end. This would give the Heat another star on both ends of the floor and linked in the lineup.
The Miami Heat proved that they are a team that is ready to win now. They are off to a slow start but there is still time to turn things around if they move quickly. The NBA trade deadline will be an integral part of what the Heat do for the rest of the season.
