Why This Trade Would Benefits The Los Angeles Clippers
It was a disappointing end to the season in the NBA Bubble for the Los Angeles Clippers. They want to make sure that this season does not end before the Western Conference Finals. So far, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George look determined.
Kawhi Leonard leads the team scoring 26.2 points per game and Paul George is right behind him with 24.4. This duo is one of the top in the league and will be expected to compete come postseason time. This can be done with the addition of an All-Star caliber point guard with dynamic shot creation like Kemba Walker.
Kemba Walker has been limited to eight games this season but is scoring 15 points a night. If healthy, Walker still has the ability to play like an All-Star. This is something that the Clippers have been missing and it could take them to that next level once he establishes a rhythm.
Los Angeles has a new head coach in Ty Lue and could be in the market for a new point guard as well. It will be interesting to see if the front office pulls the trigger on a deal.
