Buddy Hield – Sacramento Kings
Now in his fifth season in the NBA, Buddy Hield came into the league as one of the “must-watch” prospects because of his pure shooting abilities and comparisons to Steph Curry coming out of college. Early on in his career, Hield did not live up to the hype and it took some time for him to get acclimated to the league, but now, he is a very solid secondary scoring option for the Kings next to De’Aaron Fox.
While he may not be an All-Star like player, Buddy Hield is more than capable of being one of the better three-point shooters in the entire league and for a team looking for talent at every position, he could be a legit trade target for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
As mentioned before, the Timberwolves do have Anthony Edwards and Malik Beasley moving forward, but Buddy Hield is a pretty versatile player and he can be moved around on the court offensively. The only concern with bringing him in would be their team defense, as they would have some pretty small lineups with him on the court.
Talent wise, trading for Buddy Hield in the future would be a no-brainer move for the T-Wolves, especially if they would not have to give up a lot in return. The negative effect it would have on this team’s overall defense though could definitely be a cause for concern.
All-in-all, Hield is an elite three-point shooting threat and for a team that currently ranks near the bottom of the league in scoring and three-point shooting percentage, he could be a huge addition for them.
