Why This Trade Would Benefit The Indiana Pacers

The Pacers would like to get back to the championship-contending ways from years ago when they had Paul George. The only way to do that needs to add another superstar to the roster. Indiana is currently full of quality players but does not have the star power that they need to be elite. 

Bradley Beal would bring that star power immediately. He is school over 30 points per game over the last two years. The NBA is a guard-driven league and the Pacers could put together a dynamic backcourt if they made this deal.

Domantas Sabonis earned his first NBA All-Star appearance season last year and has raised his game to a new level. If the Pacers want to go that route, this means that they would be able to hold on to Turner long-term while having a supercharged perimeter.

Indiana eliminated in the first round of the postseason a year ago. If they want to change their fortune, they will have to make some sort of prior to the deadline.
