Why This Trade Would Benefit The Miami Heat

The Miami Heat are off to a sluggish start to the season. Butler has missed time with an injury but players like Tyler Herro have been picking up the slack. It is a long season but it is looking like the Heat will have to improve if they want to compete in the Eastern Conference.

The Eastern Conference has become very top-heavy. James Harden is now with the Brooklyn Nets while the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics are looking like the real deal once again. There is no doubt that Miami is a playoff team in the conference but they will have to make some improvements if they want to come out of the conference once again.

This is where adding some more three-point threats would come in to play. Hield is an all-around offensive player but has turned into one of the best shooters in the NBA. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo would benefit from having another scorer alongside them in the lineup.

This move would show fans that the Miami Heat is not going to sit on their hands and watch other teams get better. It will be interesting to see if Pat Riley decides to make a move prior to the trade deadline.
