5 star trades we’d love to see that would shake up the NBA

Bradley Beal – Washington Wizards

Last season, Bradley Beal averaged 30.5 points, 6.1 assists and shot 35.3% from three-point range. He was snubbed from making the All-Star game and was not named to any of the All-NBA teams at the conclusion of the 2019-20 season.

Entering the 2020-21 NBA season, Bradley Beal has played with a chip on his shoulder to prove all of his haters wrong and after trading for Russell Westbrook in the offseason, the Wizards have big plans for their backcourt moving forward. But, things have not been fantastic for Washington early on in the year.

They still have their struggles even though Westbrook and Beal are leading this team and if they continue to struggle, Bradley Beal could eventually request a trade. He has been very vocal about wanting to be the leader of the Wizards moving forward and wanting to take them places they have never been, but at the end of the day, greed always conquers all in terms of winning a championship in this league.

A Bradley Beal trade is definitely something NBA fans want to see because of the implications it would have on the league as a whole. The market would be wide open for a player like Beal as he could go to New York, Miami, Dallas, or who knows, maybe even Golden State! The possibilities for a trade involving Bradley Beal are endless and given how talented of an offensive player he is, he can immediately elevate the play of any of the other 29 teams in the league.

Ultimately, unless the Wizards make a move for another high-level talent, this team is going to always be a borderline playoff team and nothing more. Sure, they have some young potential in Deni Avdija, Thomas Bryant, and Rui Hachimura, but in the end, this is the Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal show.

This team and franchise will always go as far as these guys are able to carry them, which puts some major limitations on what Bradley Beal can achieve in his career.

His best chance to contend for a title and get the most out of his career is elsewhere and not with the Wizards, which is why Bradley Beal could be a name that gets brought up a lot near the trade deadline, but do not expect any legit trade rumors for him until next offseason.
