This Bulls-Hornets trade would feature Wendell Carter Jr. to Charlotte

Wendell Carter Jr., Golden State Warriors, Chicago Bulls, NBA Rumors

Why This Trade Benefits The Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets have made it clear that their goal was to add some dynamic guards to their lineup. Terry Rozier was a free agent signing while Ball was selected with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Devonte’ Graham was the breakout star of last season. They have all played well thus far but the frontcourt has had their struggles.

P.J. Washington has been a key cog in the frontcourt with 11.1 points per contest. Cody Zeller is in the final year of his contract but has played just one game and scored six points.

The Hornets will need to improve down low to compete against bigs like Joel Embiid. They have a defensive anchor in Bismack Biyombo but his offensive game leaves much to be desired.

If the Hornets add some impact big men, their attack would be much more balanced on both ends of the floor. This would point them in the right direction for the near future.
