Why This Trade Would Benefit The Brooklyn Nets

Kyrie Irving said last year that the Brooklyn Nets were still a piece or two away from winning an NBA championship. That might not be the case given the extreme talent on the team already, but if a piece is available they could always make a call.

Evan Fournier is a pretty good piece to call about. He has taken his game offensively to the next level in recent years. He is a true threat at all three levels and could take some pressure off other players.

Defenses will have to game plan on how to stop Fournier along with the rest of the explosive talent in Brooklyn. He’d be able to have an easier role than he’s ever had in his NBA career by playing primarily off the catch alongside two superstars in Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

This could be the piece that the Nets are apparently missing in hopes of winning a championship. If they are healthy, Brooklyn will be one of the best teams all year but do not be surprised to see them make a move prior to the deadline.
