Why This Trade Would Benefit The Philadelphia 76ers

The process for the Philadelphia 76ers has been a complete failure over the years. It has turned into a disappointment for fans with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid running the show. Elton Brand has done his best to ruin the roster even further. Philadelphia to look to add another star like Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards to their roster for an added boost.

Beal could be a missing link for the Sixers. They added three-point shooting in the form of Danny Green and Seth Curry. Beal is coming off a career-high 30.5 points per game last season. He would add another star on the perimeter for Philadelphia.

Beal is also a ball handler that could allow Simmons to play off the ball more— perhaps even as a screener in pick-and-roll situations to help attack teams in short-roll situations. The lack of shooting ability from Simmons could be offset with Beal’s ability to score the ball.

The 76ers were at their best when they had Jimmy Butler as the third star in town. This trade would create another big three that could keep them near the top of the East and potentially to the next level.
