Dallas Mavericks
Mark Cuban is no stranger to making big-time moves and this would be one of them. The Mavericks were reportedly looking to make a big move in the offseason. Danilo Gallinari and Victor Oladipo were two names that were mentioned as potential targets.
With Giannis Antetokounmpo signing long-term with the Milwaukee Bucks, that dream is gone for Dallas. That could help them shift their attention to acquiring a star like Oladipo.
Oladipo would fit nicely alongside Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. He would give the Mavericks another legitimate scoring option in the back-court. That would take a ton of pressure off of Doncic.
Dallas is close to being a serious NBA Finals contender. In fact, they could be one this year even without Oladipo. Acquiring Oladipo from the Pacers would put them over the top and make them one of the favorites to compete with the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference.
