Why This Trade Makes Sense For The Kings

On the other side of the trade, it is clear why the Kings would jump at this trade. They would be getting the franchise star that they have been needing. De’Aaron Fox is a very good player, but Bradley Beal is much, much better.

Beal would bring elite three-point shooting and scoring to the table. He would be able to step in and instantly become the No. 1 option. For a team like the Kings who have been desperately trying to find a way to get back into contention, this trade could help them do that.

Giving up both Buddy Hield and Marvin Bagley III would be a tough deal. Both players are young and have a lot of potential and talent. However, being able to acquire a star is expensive, but worthwhile.

If the Kings are serious about becoming playoff contenders, a trade like this one needs to be made. Beal could help them immediately make a push for the postseason. He is that good.

Sacramento may not be looking to swing for the fences just yet. With Bogdan Bogdanovic gone, the Kings could look to try to mend things with Hield and keep him around. But, if they look to make a trade for a star, Beal should be their top target.
