Why the Trade Benefits the Cleveland Cavaliers

For a rebuilding team like the Cleveland Cavaliers, it would benefit them to send their veteran players away in trades for a return. That is the reason that Kevin Love has been featured in many rumors over recent weeks. The Cavs would get back some help in this trade involving Drummond.

Cody Zeller is entering the final year of his contract and would man the center position in Cleveland for one season until they found a replacement. Bridges is the main piece of this deal for Cleveland.

At 22-years old, Miles Bridges has plenty of room to grow and develop as a player. He is a versatile option on both ends of the floor. Cleveland would get younger and look towards the future with this trade.

Cleveland drafted Isaac Okoro to join their talented group of young weapons. The Cavaliers have chance to unload Drummond for a player who would help them rebuild. This seems like a win for Cleveland.
