Why the Trade Benefits the Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks have a franchise player down low in John Collins. They made the deal for Clint Capela but have always seemed like they have had one foot out the door when it comes to him. This would be a deal to trade him and get another big on an expiring contract.

The Hawks are in a position to build around their franchise point guard and use their depth this season. Danilo Gallinari is going to be an excellent addition while Rajon Rondo will provide the veteran voice on and off the court.
