This 76ers-Bucks blockbuster trade pairs Ben Simmons, Giannis Antetokounmpo

Both the Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers have been linked to many big rumors this NBA offseason. They each have star talent between Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton along with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. Could a potential trade between the two teams make sense?

For Milwaukee, they are rumors have been based around the pending free agency of Antetokounmpo in 2021. With his decision in regards to a supermax extension still to be determined, the Bucks making a play for a star like Simmons after already acquiring Jrue Holiday would go a long way.

As for the 76ers, they have been linked to pick names such as James Harden, this NBA offseason. It is unlikely that a Harden deal gets done but that does not mean that they will sit on their hands. Daryl Morey is now in charge of basketball operations in Philadelphia, which means he could be looking to make a big splash.

If the 76ers end up realizing that Embiid and Simmons are not the best fitting-duo to have in the NBA, there may be room to make a trade for Simmons. He has been quite happy with his situation in Philadelphia but could also experience the same on a more capable contender.

The Philadelphia 76ers have said that they are not interested in trading Ben Simmons or Joel Embiid. If this changes, Simmons could be sent to the Milwaukee Bucks in a field that looks something like this.
