The best trade the Warriors could offer for Rockets’ James Harden

Why This Trade Makes Sense For The Warriors

On the other side of the trade, the Warriors would be putting together another super team. James Harden joining Stephen Curry alone would be a scary thought for opposing teams. If Klay Thompson can come back next season at full healthy, Golden State would once again be nearly impossible to beat.

Harden’s fit with the Warriors could be something that fans would be concerned about. Would he be willing to sacrifice to play alongside two other superstars that need the ball? Things didn’t work out great with Russell Westbrook last season in Houston.

If the Warriors make this trade, they have a proven track record of finding ways to help three superstars co-exist. No one thought that Curry, Thompson, and Kevin Durant would fit together as seamlessly as they did.

Curry and Thompson would likely be the players sacrificing the most. They would come off of the ball and would be able to focus on getting open and knocking down three-point shots. Harden is a proven playmaker for his teammates and would even more dangerous with two of the best sharpshooters of all-time.

Can you imagine defenses having to defend against Curry and Thompson from the three-point line and Harden getting into the paint and to the foul line? That would be a nightmare scenario for defenses.

This trade would make Golden State an NBA Finals favorite once again. It would certainly be fun to watch the Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers face off in a Western Conference Finals matchup.
