Perhaps the most intriguing and under-the-radar team on this list would be the Hornets. They have been aggressive this offseason and are looking to make a push towards the playoffs.

It has been years since the Hornets were considered a legitimate contender. Gordon Hayward signing a four-year, $120 million contract in free agency was an overpay, but one that could pay off. Charlotte also brought in LaMelo Ball with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Lou Williams could be another big-time addition for the Hornets. He would fill the sixth man void that Charlotte has. If they want more scoring, Williams would be the way to go.

No one truly knows if Williams does want a trade from the Clippers. However, if he does, a team like the Hornets could come swooping in with an aggressive offer as they look to make the postseason.
