Oklahoma City Thunder Receive: Patrick McCaw, 2022 1st Round Pick

Al Horford cannot be traded to a team aggregated with other players until Dec. 7 after he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. That is not a restriction that is applicable in this circumstance given the Toronto Raptors would just be acquiring him and not any additional players.

The Raptors would take on the $27.5 million salary that Horford is set to earn during the upcoming NBA season. With how much salary has gone off the books due to free agency departures, Toronto would be able to simply take on this deal while sending out just Patrick McCaw.
