1. The Hornets Will See Hayward Make The All-Star Game

This is the boldest prediction that we could possible make for Gordon Hayward in his first year with the Hornets. Not only will he prove that Charlotte made a good decision by bringing him in, he will actually earn a trip to the All-Star Game.

Well, there may not be an All-Star game due to COVID-19, but he will be named an All-Star in the Eastern Conference.

Hayward is going to score the ball at a high rate. He is also going to rack up at least 6.5 rebounds and his assist numbers will rise to over five per game. Those numbers are going to make him one of the elite players in the conference.

He has received some criticism for not becoming a star with the Celtics. However, there was no opportunity for him to become one with all of the talent that Boston put together.

Now that he is finally the No. 1 option once again, Hayward is going to have a breakout season. LaMelo Ball will also have a good year as a rookie. The Hayward-Ball duo is going to be fun to watch and the Hornets are going to be a much-improved basketball team.
