One of the most interesting names available in NBA free agency spent the 2019-20 season with the Detroit Pistons. Christian Wood has made massive improvements over the last two years and this makes him a valuable piece in a weak free-agent class.

Wood came into the NBA in 2015 and has already played for five teams. He played just 21 games two seasons ago but showed some promise. This persuaded the Detroit Pistons to take a chance on him and it paid off.

Last season, Wood averaged 13.1 points and 6.3 rebounds in 62 games for the Pistons. All of a sudden, he has made himself a hot name available this offseason.
