3. Retain Goran Dragic and Jae Crowder Short-Term
Both Dragic and Crowder were important pieces of the Heat during their playoff run. Dragic was dealing with an injury, but was productive when he was on the court. They were two starters this season in Miami.
Dragic and Crowder are both entering free agency this offseason. The LaMarcus Aldridge trade could help these two get signed.
If Igoudala and Olynyk were sent to San Antonio, that would open up about $3 million for Miami. That money would go towards bringing back Dragic and Crowder on short-term deals. They were extremely important and will be next season if they are brought back.
The idea is to continue to improve the roster. The Heat cannot afford to lose two big contributors and starters heading into next season.
