3. Charlotte Hornets

Andre Drummond has spent his career with the Detroit Pistons and a small amount of time with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has never been in a big market and that makes the Charlotte Hornets seem like a realistic destination. The Hornets need help at the center position this offseason.

This is the biggest need for the Hornets. Drummond is a veteran player who can still average upwards or 15 or 16 rebounds per contest. He would help Charlotte to establish a legitimate identity as a team.

The Hornets will have a decision to make on draft night. They hold the third-overall pick and could choose to go with James Wiseman or draft one of the dynamic guards if they do not go one and two. Drummond would be ruled out if Wiseman is the pick, but it’s an option otherwise.

Drummond is a player who can help the Hornets improve in the frontcourt. The return will not be huge for the Cavaliers but anything is better than nothing, especially if they want to dump his salary.
